ATHENS (Thomson Financial) - The local market is expected to open flat to
lower with the bourse largely dependent on foreign sentiment in the absence of
market moving news-flow.
Yesterday, the ASE general index rose 3.1 percent to 3,289.4 on a late
technical rebound to recover from recent intense selling pressure.

- Geniki Bank SA, a unit of Societe Generale SA, sold real estate in Athens for
26 million euros, realizing a 13.5 million euros capital gain.
COMPANY NEWS
- Hellenic Petroleum SA signed a final agreement with Edison SpA to form a
strategic alliance for power generation and trading.
- Deutsche Telekom AG raised its stake in Hellenic Telecoms Organization SA
(OTE) to 20.28 percent from 20.16 percent, and the Greek state will sell it
another 3 percent stake soon.
- Hellenic Technodomiki Tev SA said that its units Aktor Concessions and Aktor
Construction in a 50-50 joint venture with Vinci SA have been short-listed for a
road concession project in Romania.
