ATHENS (Thomson Financial) - The local market is expected to open lower on
Wednesday after a weak overnight performance on Wall Street but a technical
rebound during the session cannot be ruled out given the recent severe selling
pressure.
On Tuesday, the ASE general index closed down 1 percent to 3,699, led lower
by Coca-Cola HBC SA and OPAP SA.

million euros to revenues for its fixed odds betting game, Stihima.

-OPAP is due to announce its new operational structure.
- The Greek parliament is expected to vote on the shareholders' deal between
the state and Deutsche Telekom AG for their holdings in Hellenic Telecoms
Organization SA (OTE).
MARKET NEWS/SENTIMENT
-Sentiment in the local market is bearish on low news-flow and limited
liquidity. Recent profit warnings and critical broker notes have added to the
selling pressure and the ASE general index is down about 29 percent in the year
to date.
-Even a positive performance on peer European bourses have not be able to
assist the local market to recover
