Celebrated Maryland Governor and former Presidential
candidate Martin O’Malley, Congressman Rick Mulvaney (R-SC),
Congressman Glenn Nye (D-VA), and General (Ret.) Stanley McChrystal
headline FiscalNote Inc.’s inaugural ReInvent Influence user summit
today. Hosted by company cofounder and CEO Tim Hwang, the event
brings together more than 200 leaders in government and government
affairs focused on reinventing government affairs in the
digital age at the Federal, state and local levels.
Increasing volumes of data, emerging industry disruptors, and an
ever-changing regulatory landscape have rendered traditional
lobbying techniques ineffective. Modern government affairs teams
are instead using data and analytics to build bigger networks and
expand their impact in this increasingly consequential time.
FiscalNote offers the industry’s most advanced platform for
collecting, analyzing and predicting regulatory and legislative
outcomes and is used by leaders in both the non-profit advocacy and
corporate sectors.
O’Malley will keynote at 9:30am on the impact of technology on
the influence industry. Mulvaney, Nye and McChrystal will be in
conversation with Hwang at 3:30pm discussing government
affairs in a Trump Administration.
The closing conversation can be viewed as a livestream
via FiscalNote’s Facebook page. Conference reports can be
viewed throughout the day on Twitter using the hashag
