NEW YORK, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Glocap Search has launched a strategic Human Resources Practice. The new practice is co-headed by Terry Kassel, the former Global Head of Human Resources at Merrill Lynch, and Ruthanne Feinberg, Managing Director. While at Merrill Lynch, Kassel's HR function included recruiting, leadership and development, compensation, diversity, HR information systems and employee relations. Since her departure from Merrill Lynch, she has worked extensively with private equity and hedge funds providing advice on executive talent assessment, institutionalizing talent review processes and driving alignment and accountability in portfolio and management companies. Feinberg has been with Glocap for five years and is a member of the firm's management committee. She also drives Glocap's internal recruitment function as the firm expands both nationally and internationally.
Adam Zoia, Managing Partner, noted that adding a human resources practice is part of the continuing expansion of Glocap's search activities and will allow Glocap to provide an even fuller range of services to its clients. As is Glocap's specialty, the new practice will focus much of its activities on private equity and hedge funds, both of which are asset classes that recognize that human capital is an important driver of their bottom-line profitability, Zoia noted.
Kassel said the new practice will place all levels of HR professionals including, but not limited to, specialists in employee relations, staffing/recruiting, training/development, compensation, benefits and diversity.
