BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Gilead Sciences Inc. said Friday that aztreonam
lysine, the company's investigational therapy for the treatment of people with
cystic fibrosis, was well tolerated in an interim 12-month Phase III study.
The Foster City, Calif.-based biopharmaceutical company said there was no
suggestion of increasing incidence of adverse events found in the study.
Gilead shares closed Thursday at $52.73.
