FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - German Economy Minister Michael Glos is
considering revising the regulations on marketing price margins imposed on the
wholesale pharmaceutical industry, according to a pre-release of tomorrow's
Handelsblatt newspaper.
The report, citing a copy of Glos' letter to various health industry
associations, said the minister is asking the associations for their views on
his proposals.
It said Glos is making the move in response to complaints from the
wholesalers that their profit margins have been declining.
