NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Shares of GeoPharma Inc. fell Wednesday after
the company swung to a loss in its second quarter.
The Largo, Fla.-based pharmaceutical company reported a net loss of $1.7
million, or 15 cents a share in its second quarter, compared to earnings of
$793,037, or 7 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
Revenue fell to $6 million from $16.7 million reported in 2006.
Shares of GeoPharma fell 13% to $2.74 on Wednesday.
