NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - General Dynamics Corp. Monday said it has won
a $166.4 million U.S. Army contract for production of the 2.75-inch Hydra-70
rockets.
The Hydra-70 is a family of unguided rockets with a variety of possible
warhead configurations.
The award is part of a five-year requirements contract signed in 2005 that
has a total potential value of more than $900 million if all options are
exercised, the company said.
General Dynamics shares fell 1% to $84.85 in midday trading.
