Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs)

Pursuant to the notification obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R, and further to the announcement made on 22 September 2015, the Company hereby announces that as part of the ongoing internal re-organisation of Mehmet Sepil's indirectly held interests, through Elysion Energy Holding B.V. ('Elysion'), 500,000 voting ordinary shares in Genel Energy plc have been sold for an average price of GBP3.077063 between 22(nd) and 25(th) September 2015.

It is intended that following completion of the internal re-organisation and once all steps are finalised (which will not happen simultaneously) Mehmet Sepil's indirect interest in the Company will remain unchanged.

Accordingly, Mehmet Sepil's total holding immediately following this notification is 30,204,371 (12.14%) voting ordinary shares and 1,086,443 (3.67%) suspended voting ordinary shares.

Murat Yazici's total holding immediately following this notification is 414,299 (0.17%) voting ordinary shares and 196,258 (0.66%) suspended voting ordinary shares.
