NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - GameStop Corp. Wednesday said it would buy
The Gamesman, which operates eight stores in New Zealand.
Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed. The deal is expected to
close by mid-July.
With the acquisition, GameStop will have a total of 38 stores in New
Zealand.
Shares of GameStop closed Tuesday at $40.75. The stock is down 34% since the
start of the year.
