GE Announces Retirement of Robert Lane from Board of Directors

GE (NYSE: GE) announced today that Robert W. Lane is retiring
from the GE Board of Directors for health reasons, effective
October 9, 2017.
Lane, the former Chairman and CEO of Deere & Company, joined
the GE Board of Directors in June 2005. He served as a member of
the Audit Committee from July 2005 to December 2016 and began
serving on the Management Development and Compensation Committee in
April 2009. In recognition of his 12 years of service to GE, the
Board has named Lane a Director Emeritus.
