Today, February 4th,
the co-founder and CEO of G2A, Bartosz
Skwarczek officially opened GIST Gaming Istanbul 2016.
Bartosz spoke about the amazing potential of Turkey as an enviably located marketplace in
the middle between Europe,
Asia and the Middle East: a unique bridge between people

Bartosz said that G2A had brought their top team to Istanbul for the much-anticipated GIST event.
In a well-crafted speech he compared the history of G2A and the
history of Turkey, saying that
both were marketplaces which had, in the past, suffered rejection
and struggled to be recognized and that today both continue to
strive to become great leaders.
He said: "G2A share with Turkey
the history of everyone in the world who wants to achieve something
great."
G2A was established in 2010 as an ecommerce shop with big dreams
to become an official reseller of Triple A developers. Bartosz
travelled far to attend different trade shows: E3, GamesCom,
Gstar - begging for a meeting with Triple A developers. "We were
rejected dozens of times," he said, "We got no response. We felt
humiliated."
He asked the audience of gamers and business leaders: "Does this
sound familiar to you? How long has Turkey been asking to be a full member of the
EU? You try to convince others that you would be a valuable member
and that your presence can make a great difference? For 20 years
you have suffered from being rejected. G2A can play a part in

During their time of rejection, G2A resolved to dedicate
themselves to building a customer experience marketplace platform
with the best prices. Today, G2A has 150 thousand sellers and the
