Freddie Mac Will Not Issue a Reference REMIC(R) Security in October

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) today announced it will not issue a Reference REMICĀ® security during the week of October 12, 2009. The company's 2009 Reference NotesĀ® and Reference REMIC calendar designates monthly issuance weeks that it may use to issue new Reference REMIC securities.
