BURLINGTON, N.J., April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Franklin Electronic Publishers, Incorporated (AMEX:FEP) reported that the Company has extended its 2004 distribution arrangement with Seiko U.K. Ltd. for an additional three years through 2012. Under that arrangement, Seiko distributes the Company's products in the United Kingdom and Ireland. In connection with the extension, Seiko has made a one time payment of $500,000 to the Company, which amount will be reflected in the Company's financial statements for the quarter ending March 31, 2008. Other financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
