New features, content, and functionality offered in new models are being launched to complement Franklin's line of the world's leading reference and learning handhelds
LAS VEGAS, Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Franklin Electronic Publishers (AMEX:FEP), a world leader in handheld electronic information, will showcase a new line of education and language learning products alongside several other new releases being featured today at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show, booth 36232, in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Franklin will preview a new line of interactive educational and language learning handheld products designed for language learners and students of all ages. Franklin's new line of educational products makes learning engaging by bringing the learning process to a familiar game playing format. These new handhelds combine the benefit of portability with interactive educational and language learning content. The new "go anywhere" design features the ability to access the content on a television screen, serving as an ideal tool for a family or group of language learners.
The company is previewing three new models including: language learning handheld designed for students; an interactive Spelling Bee perfect for young learners; and a device featuring Immersive English Language Learning content designed for the serious student of English as a Second Language or as a Foreign Language. All models in the new series boast a high-quality color LCD screen display and allow the user to add additional content via an SD card slot or download from a PC through its integrated USB port. Select models will also feature a built in MP-3 player.
