BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - The European Commission said it has cleared
Taiwan-based Foxconn Technology Group's proposed acquisition through its unit
Foxteq Holdings Inc. of some of U.S.-based Sanmina-SCI Corp.'s
personal-computing and logistics assets.
The commission said the transaction would not significantly impede effective
competition in the European Economic Area.
