LONDON, Aug 28 (Reuters) - British plastics and fibre products firm Filtrona
posted a 1.6 percent fall in first half profit on Thursday and said it
was confident it would meet full-year expectations despite tough market
conditions.
The firm, which makes filters for cigarettes and laminates for passports,
reported pretax profit for the six months to end-June of 31 million pounds ($57
million) as revenue grew 2.9 percent to 264.6 million pounds.
