LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Fidelity International Ltd said it has sold
180,000 shares in Datamonitor PLC, at 6.46 stg per share, reducing its stake to
5.91 pct from 6.25 pct.
The company had steadily been reducing its stake in the market intelligence
provider since May 25, when it was 10.01 pct.
Last week, Informa PLC had said it has declared its 650 pence per share cash
offer for Datamonitor as unconditional.
In addition, FTSE said Datamonitor will be deleted from the FTSE-250 Index
from the start of trading on July 18, saying that Severfield-Rowen PLC will take
its place in the mid-cap index.
