(Updates with reason for sharp rise in profits)
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Feedback Plc. posted a full year pretax profit
of 6.78 million pounds but said that the first three months of the current year
have started slowly, although profitably with current order book lower than a
year earlier.
For the year ended May 31, the company, which makes electronic and
electrical equipment to train engineers made a pretax profit of 6.78 million
pounds including an exceptional profit of 6.39 million pounds, while it posted a
loss of 694,100 pounds for the 14 months ended May 31 2007.
Its revenues were about 9.61 million pounds for the year while it was 9.64
million for the 14 months ended May 31 2007, the company said.
The company said the 6.29 million pounds exceptional profit included in its
full year figures relates to the write back of the deficit on the group's
pension schemes following the agreement with its trustees and the pension
protection fund.
