Lawsuit Was Filed Against Canadian Superior Energy, Inc.
OKLAHOMA CITY, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 15, 2004, the class action
lawsuit was filed in the Southern District of New York against Canadian Superior
Energy, Inc. . The complaint alleges violations of federal securities laws,
including allegations of dramatically overstating revenues and concealing
Canadian Superior Energy's true prospects. The lawsuit further alleges that
defendants violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of
1934 and Rule 10b-5, thereby issuing a series of material misrepresentations to
the market. The class period is from November 17, 2003 through March 11, 2004.
Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of the Class. If you are a member
of the Class as described above, you may move the Court no later than sixty (60)
days from March 15, 2004, to serve as a lead plaintiff for the Class. However,
in order to do so, you must meet certain legal requirements pursuant to the
Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
