FactSet, a leading provider of integrated financial information and analytical applications, has been awarded the “Best Overall Provider” of market data, research and analytics for 2016 by Inside Market Data (IMD), an Incisive Media publication that covers the market data sector of the financial services industry.

FactSet’s achievement was announced at the Inside Market Data/Inside Reference Data Awards Dinner held on May 18, 2016 in New York. FactSet was also named “Best Research Provider” and “Best Analytics Provider” in the annual IMD awards competition.

The IMD “Best Research Provider” award recognizes FactSet’s Research Management Solutions (RMS), which help clients institutionalize and optimize their research workflow and centralize ideas, notes, and recommendations, ultimately making research faster and easier to store, retrieve, track and share across investment teams. FactSet is the largest provider of RMS solutions in the industry and is used by firms in all asset classes.

The IMD “Best Analytics Provider” award spotlights FactSet’s Portfolio Analytics (PA), a multi-asset class, global solution that helps investment professionals get from data to decision faster. Included is FactSet’s Geographical Revenue dataset which is unique in the industry and provides a true understanding of a portfolio’s exposure to geopolitical, macroeconomic and market factors.
