SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. said late
Wednesday it has received marketing approval from the Food and Drug
Administration for Arcalyst injection for subcutaneous use, a treatment of
Cryopyrin-Associated Periodic Syndromes.
The Tarryrtown, N.Y.-based company expects to launch Arcalyst, its first
commercial product, within the next 30 days.
Shares of Regeneron closed at $18.90 and rose 3% in after-hours trade.
