Exxon Says Bomb Threat Received at Refinery in Beaumont, Texas

Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said Wednesday it has received a bomb
threat at its refinery in Beaumont, Texas, and is taking steps to
secure the area.
"Local and federal authorities have been contacted and are on
scene," Exxon spokesman Todd Spitler said in an email. "We take
these threats very seriously."
The 345,000-barrel-a-day refinery is located about 80 miles east
of Houston.
