Event Design Magazine Debuts This Fall The First Magazine to Focus on the Builders of Events, Exhibits and Environments

NORWALK, Conn., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Red 7 Media, LLC has announced plans to launch Event Design Magazine, a new publication serving the information needs of the builders of events, exhibits and environments.

The magazine will debut in October with a controlled circulation of 10,000 designers, architects, creative directors, and purchasing managers. These readers are responsible for the design and construction of indoor and outdoor events, museum exhibits, trade show displays, retail merchandising, special events, and corporate environments.

"Design is becoming central to virtually every aspect of our lives," notes Kerry Smith, President of Red 7 Media. "From events to exhibits to museum displays and even corporate lobbies, great design is at the forefront of how companies create and communicate their identity. Event Design will focus on leading designers and builders and how they are breaking new ground to enhance environments, create differentiation, and communicate the essence of a brand message through physical structure."

"There are other magazines that focus on segments of the event business, but Event Design is the first and only publication that will speak exclusively to the unique needs of the event design community across all channels of events," says Editor & Publisher, Dan Hanover. "The magazine will cover both the form and the function of events, exhibits and environments."

"Another point of difference will be our team of European correspondents based in Belgium, Germany and the U.K. who will report in each issue on emerging design trends throughout Europe and provide case studies and interviews with the leading players."

Event Design has established a sales network in 6 European countries to -- for the first time -- provide suppliers of event and exhibit-related products and services with access to the leading American designers and engineers.
