Euro Mixed Ahead Of German GfK Consumer Confidence Survey

Market research group GfK releases its consumer confidence index
for Germany at 2:00 am ET Friday. The forward-looking index is
expected to remain unchanged at 10 in September.
Ahead of the data, the euro showed mixed trading against its
major rivals. While the euro fell against the franc, it held steady
against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1292 against the greenback, 113.43 against
the yen, 0.8550 against the pound and 1.0914 against the franc as
of 1:55 am ET.
