Euro Extends Rise Against Majors

The euro extended early rise against the other major currencies
in European deals on Tuesday.
The single currency appreciated to 1.0874 against the Swiss
franc, its highest since January 12.
The euro strengthened to an 11-day high of 1.1070 against the
greenback and a 1-1/2-month high of 138.26 against the yen, off
early lows of 1.0961 and 136.80, respectively.
The 19-nation currency approached a 2-week high of 0.7103
against the pound and a new 2-week high of 1.4475 against the
loonie, from its previous 4-day lows of 0.7039 and 1.4319,
respectively.
The euro spiked up to an 11-day high of 1.5120 against the
aussie, while reaching 1.6898 against the kiwi, its highest since
December 2013.
The euro may possibly challenge resistance around 1.10 against
the franc, 1.12 against the greenback, 139.00 against the yen,
0.725 against the pound, 1.455 against the loonie, 1.52 against the
aussie and 1.73 against the kiwi.
