The euro extended rally against its major rivals in New York
deals on Friday, amid reports that Greece is closer to reach deal
with its EU partners at the Monday's meeting.
Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said he is optimistic
for a deal with international creditors, saying the Eurogroup
meeting next Monday could act as a platform to reach deal by
resolving the current negotiations.
The euro rallied to more than a 2-month high of 1.1366 against
the greenback, 2-1/2-month high of 135.61 against the yen and near
a 3-month high of 0.7436 against the pound.
The euro may find resistance around 1.14 against the greenback,
140.00 against the yen and 0.75 against the pound.
