The euro has been gaining against the currencies of Canada, U.S. and Japan in the European session on Wednesday.

The euro advanced to a 2-day high of 95.07 against the yen, 5-day highs of 1.2157 against the greenback and 1.2377 against the loonie with 96.00, 1.22 and 1.245 seen as the next upside target levels, respectively.
