Euro vs UK Sterling (FX:EURGBP)

The European common currency extended its previous session's upward trading against major opponents during new York mid-day deals on Wednesday. The euro climbed to fresh multi-day highs of 0.8102 against the British pound, 1.2611 versus the US dollar, 100.12 against the Japanese yen and 1.2950 versus the Canadian dollar at around 11:40 am ET, which may be compared to yesterday's closing values of 0.8033, 1.2505, 99.45 and 1.2838, respectively.
Currently, the euro is worth 99.98 against the yen, 0.8100 versus the sterling, 1.2597 against the greenback and 1.2938 versus the loonie.
Against the Australian and New Zealand dollars, the European single currency also showed strength in today's mid-day session. As of now, the euro is trading at 1.2638 against the Aussie and 1.6195 versus the kiwi from previous session's lows of 1.2558 and 1.6060, respectively.
