ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Con-Way Supply Chain Services, Inc., a subsidiary of CNF Inc. (NYSE:CNF) today announced the promotion of Eric Madison to director of human resources for Con-Way Truckload Services.

In 1994 he was promoted to account executive for the Plattsburgh, N.Y. service center. In 1995 he was promoted to sales and service manager for the St. Johnsbury, Vt. facility. In 1998 he was promoted to service center manager for the CCX service center in Milan, Ohio. He joined Con-Way Truckload in 2004 as manager of human resources.
"Eric has done an outstanding job in leading the human resources side of the business. He was instrumental in creating an environment and recruitment program that has allowed us to obtain quality drivers and retain them at levels that surpass the national average for driver retention. He accomplished this during a time of extreme driver shortage," said Clay Halla, president of Con-Way Truckload.
Madison holds a BBA from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich. and an MBA from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. He is based at the Con- Way Truckload offices Memphis, Tenn.
