LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Equinix Inc said its Equinix UK Ltd unit lifted
its stake in IXEurope PLC to 4.77 mln shares or 2.6 pct, after purchasing
224,967 more shares at 137.111 pence each.
Equinix, a data centre and Internet exchange services provider, acquired
about 4.54 mln IXEurope shares at 140 pence each in cash on August 10.
Last month, Equinix UK raised its cash offer for IXEurope to 140 pence a
share, valuing the company at 270.1 mln stg, after IXEurope received a proposal
from a third party.
