LONDON (Thomson Financial) - EnCore Oil Plc. said the Esmond field pressure
test well on the UK North Sea Block 43/13a has been spudded.
The energy enhancer jack-up rig contracted by Star Energy Group Plc. is
drilling the well, and operations are expected to be completed in about 21 days,
the company said.
Star Energy, the operator of the project, will bear the entire cost of
drilling of this well.
EnCore and Star Energy have a 50 per cent interest each in the project.
