LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Emerson Electric Co. said Wednesday it is no
longer interested in pursuing the acquisition of Chloride Plc. after the UK
company's board rejected an upwardly revised indicative offer of 270 pence a
share.
The company said its revised bid came after it expressed an initial interest
in Chloride in early May.
