(NASDAQ:EMAG) a leader in enterprise medical information technology systems for hospitals and health care networks announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract with Novation, LLC, the contracting services company of VHA Inc., the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista, to supply Cardiovascular PACS Products & Services. The agreement's duration will be more than two years, spanning Feb. 1, 2008 to Apr. 30, 2010, and includes two optional one-year extension periods. Per the terms of the agreement, Emageon will supply its industry(1) and user(1) recognized HeartSuite VERICIS(C) Cardiovascular Image and Information Management Solution.
Under the terms of the agreement, Emageon will supply a comprehensive portfolio of its enterprise-wide HeartSuite VERICIS(C) software & hardware solutions. In addition, Emageon will also supply the Project Management, IS/IT & Systems Interfacing, Installation and a comprehensive package of Solution Maintenance Programs including Remote & Local Service Support, as well as Clinical, Administrative & Engineering Training Programs.
