LONDON-- Hedge fund group Elliott Advisors U.K. said it has called a regional court in Munich for additional special audits at German Internet and cable company Kabel Deutschland Holding AG, which is now part of Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN).

"As the acquirer Vodafone has used its voting majority on the recent extraordinary general meeting to block further examination of the takeover of KDG by Vodafone, we have decided to call upon a court for the appointment of two special auditors," Elliott said in a statement Monday.
