BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Electronic Arts Inc. said Tuesday it has
extended its tender offer for all outstanding common shares of Take-Two
Interactive Software Inc. to July 18.
The offer was previously set to expire on June 16.
Electronic Arts said its offer price remains unchanged at $25.74 per share,
"which is a substantial premium to where Take-Two's stock was trading prior to
our offer."
Shares of Electronic Arts, a Redwood City, Calif.-based entertainment
software company, closed Monday at $47.06.
Shares of Take-Two, a New York-based videogame developer, closed Monday at
$26.40.
