General Electric Co. (GE) is again considering the sale of its home appliances division and has drawn interest from Sweden's Electrolux AB (ELUXY) and consumer product development startup Quirky, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing two people with knowledge of the matter.

The deal could be worth as much as $2 billion, the report said.

Quirky would tie-up with private-equity firms to take a majority stake in the century-old business, Bloomberg said, while Electrolux could float a bid alone.
