Electric Insurance's 2008 Goal of 2,000 Employee Volunteer Hours Solidifies Commitment to the Community

Electric Insurance Company, a Beverly, Massachusetts-based national provider of auto, homeowners, condominium, and renters insurance, is pleased to unveil their 2008 commitment of 2,000 employee volunteer hours to the community through their CITE program.

Electric Insurance employee volunteers of CITE, or Community Involvement Team of Electric Insurance, will be involved in activities that help local charitable organizations. SeniorCare & the Beverly Council on Aging are the company’s flagship organizations for 2008. In addition, the American Red Cross, Beverly Bootstraps, Beverly and Danvers Food Pantries, Endicott College Scholarship Fund, The Food Project, Help for Abused Women/Children, North Shore ARC, North Shore Fairy Godmothers, North Shore Medical Center Cancer Walk, and the Salem Mission will be supported through Electric Insurance’s CITE efforts. Beyond the service performed by CITE, Electric Insurance Company also offers each of its employees the opportunity to use 8 hours per year of paid volunteer time for qualified community service projects in their local communities.
