Academy, announced that it is expanding to a year-round golf
instruction and practice facility at El Cid Golf & Country Club
in Mazatlán, Mexico. Designed and trained by Dr. David Wright, a GOLF Magazine Top 100
Instructor, the Academy features his coaching techniques and
tailor-made programs.
The Wright Balance Golf Academy provides an instructional
environment focused on maximizing each student's learning
experience. Featuring one-of-a-kind balance measurement and balance
fitting systems, its programs are designed for beginner to
professional levels. Dr. Wright and his instructors train using
techniques designed to minimize physical stress and maximize the
use of core muscles. The Academy also aims to increase core
balance, provide course management coaching, and improve short game
performance.
Dr. David Wright has been a
professional golf instructor since 1982. He has been described by
top golf publications as the "Balance Expert." Before opening the
Academy, Dr. Wright held coaching posts at the University of Southern California men's and women's
golf teams from 1999 through 2008. During his tenure the
teams won various championships, including team and individual NCAA
National Championships, and multiple Regional NCAA and PAC 10
Conference Championships.
