Eaton Vance Insured Municipal Bond Funds Annual Meetings of Shareholders

BOSTON, July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At each of their meetings held today, shareholders of Eaton Vance Insured California Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EVM), Eaton Vance Insured California Municipal Bond Fund II (NYSE Amex: EIA), Eaton Vance Insured Massachusetts Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: MAB), Eaton Vance Insured Michigan Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: MIW), Eaton Vance Insured Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EIM), Eaton Vance Insured Municipal Bond Fund II (NYSE Amex: EIV), Eaton Vance Insured New Jersey Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EMJ), Eaton Vance Insured New York Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: ENX), Eaton Vance Insured New York Municipal Bond Fund II (NYSE Amex: NYH), Eaton Vance Insured Ohio Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EIO) and Eaton Vance Insured Pennsylvania Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EIP) each a closed-end investment company, voted to elect William H. Park and Lynn A. Stout as Class I Trustees of the Funds for a three-year term, and Helen Frame Peters as Class III Trustee of the Funds for a two-year term to coincide with the term of office of her class. Due to the redemption of Auction Preferred Shares ("APS") by Eaton Vance Insured California Municipal Bond Fund, Eaton Vance Insured Municipal Bond Fund and Eaton Vance Insured New York Municipal Bond Fund, shareholders of those Funds voted to approve a redesignation of the APS Trustees and elected Ralph F. Verni as Class I Trustee for a three-year term and Benjamin C. Esty as Class II Trustee for a one-year term to coincide with the term of office of his class. Ralph F. Verni was elected as a Class I APS Trustee of all other Funds, elected solely by holders of APS, for a three-year term. Each Funds' other Class II and Class III Trustees, who serve staggered three-year terms, were not up for election and remain in office.
