PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Outdoor apparel retailer Columbia Sportswear Co. said
Thursday its third-quarter profit rose 4 percent to beat Wall Street
expectations, due to strong sales in its sportswear division and Columbia brand.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. said Thursday its third-quarter
profit more than doubled on a resurgence in sales of blood thinner Plavix, but
the drug developer warned it plans more job cuts this year amid a difficult drug
approval environment.
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (AP) -- Synchronoss Technologies Inc., a provider of
on-demand transaction management software to AT&T and other communication
companies, on Thursday said its third-quarter profit more than doubled, and the
company's stock rose in after-hours trading.

which makes a technology used in semiconductor manufacturing, said Thursday

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Digital River Inc., which provides online commerce
services, on Thursday reported its third-quarter profit rose more than 3 percent
fueled by growth in foreign markets and its software business.
