MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Auto parts retailer AutoZone Inc. said Tuesday fiscal
first-quarter earnings rose 7 percent on an increase in sales, particularly of
parts with high profit margins.
FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -- Profits shrank in the final quarter for
ThyssenKrupp AG, yet the German steelmaker said demand pushed annual profits up
29 percent and the company said it aims to pay out a bigger dividend to its
shareholders.
MISSION WOODS, Kan. (AP) -- Layne Christensen Co. said Tuesday its fiscal
third-quarter profit rose 27 percent, helped by increased revenue across all
business segments.
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. said late Monday it swung to a
fiscal second-quarter loss dragged down by charges related to a proposed project
and expansions and other one-time costs.
LAUREL, Miss.(AP) -- Poultry producer Sanderson Farms Inc. said Tuesday its
fourth-quarter profit more than doubled due to higher chicken prices.
