MALVERN, Pa. (AP) -- Orthopedic and surgical product maker Orthovita Inc.
said Tuesday its second-quarter loss narrowed on increased product sales.
CHICAGO (AP) -- Playboy Enterprises Inc. said Tuesday it swung to a
second-quarter profit on improved results from its entertainment and licensing
segments.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Resort and indoor waterpark operator Great Wolf
Resorts Inc. on Tuesday said its second-quarter loss widened slightly as rising
expenses offset revenue gains.
CHICAGO (AP) -- Huron Consulting Group Inc., which provides financial and
operational advice to businesses, posted a 61 percent gain in second-quarter
profit, on higher revenue from what the company called a "strong market demand"
for its services.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- PG&E Corp., parent of California's Pacific Gas &
Electric Co. utility, said Tuesday its second-quarter profit rose 16 percent on
higher revenue and tighter cost controls.
LEXINGTON, Mass. (AP) -- Biotechnology company Epix Pharmaceuticals Inc.
said Tuesday its second-quarter loss widened as research and development costs
surged.
