Acquisition of Shares by the Namakwa Diamonds Trustees Limited, on behalf of the
Namakwa Diamonds Employee Benefit Trust
Namakwa Diamonds (LSE: NAD) today announces that on 9 October 2009, 870,000
ordinary shares in the Company were acquired at a price of GBP0.35 per share
through market purchases by Namakwa Diamonds Trustees Limited, on behalf of the
Namakwa Diamonds Employee Benefit Trust, pursuant to a mandate with an
independent third party. Such mandate allows the independent third party to make
trading decisions in relation to the Company's securities independently and
uninfluenced by the Company.
