Dune Energy Elects Directors at Annual Shareholder Meeting

HOUSTON, July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dune Energy, Inc. (AMEX:DNE) held its annual shareholder meeting on July 10, 2007 in Houston. The following directors were elected to serve for the upcoming year: Alan D. Gaines, James A. Watt, Richard M. Cohen, Steven Barrenechea, Steven Sisselman, William E. Greenwood and Alan D. Bell. Mr. Gaines will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The company will report 2nd quarter financial and operating results by mid-August. At that time guidance for total capital, production volumes and costs for the remainder of the year will be provided.
