Dollar Mixed Ahead Of New Home Sales Data

At 10:00 am ET Friday, the Commerce Department is due to release
its new home sales data for June. Economists expect new home sales
to come in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 550,000.
The greenback showed mixed trading against its major rivals
before the data. While the greenback eased against the yen, it held
steady against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was worth 123.95 against the yen, 0.9610 against
the franc, 1.0945 against the euro and 1.5489 against the pound as
of 9:55 am ET.
