Dollar Extends Gain Ahead Of U.S. House Price Index

The Federal House Finance Agency's U.S. house price index for
December is set for release at 9:00 am ET Thursday. The greenback
extended rally against its major rivals ahead of the data.
The greenback was worth 1.1264 against the euro, 0.9527 against
the franc, 1.5467 against the pound and 119.13 against the yen as
of 8:55 am ET.
