Dollar Edges Up After Consumer Confidence Index

Following the release of U.S. consumer confidence index for
March at 10:00 am ET Tuesday, the greenback rose against its major
opponents.
The greenback was trading at 1.0732 against the euro, 0.9736
against the franc, 1.4789 against the pound and 120.05 against the
yen around 10:05 am ET.
