Dollar Climbs Vs Most Majors Ahead Of U.S. CPI, Retail Sales

The U.S. consumer prices and retail sales for April are due at
8.30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these reports, the greenback traded
mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback rose against
the pound, franc and the yen, it fell against the euro.
The greenback was worth 1.0873 against the euro, 113.83 against
the yen, 1.0081 against the franc and 1.2848 against the pound as
of 8:25 am ET.
