VIENNA (Thomson Financial) - Austria's DO&CO Restaurants & Catering AG said
group sales for the first quarter was boosted 80 pct year-on-year to 86.3 mln
eur after turnover at its airline catering division more than doubled.
The group's airline catering division, which holds the catering contract for
Austrian Airlines among others, contributed 62.62 mln eur to total turnover for
the three-month period ending June 30, compared with 27.73 mln in the same
period last year, Do&CO said.
EBIT for first quarter of the 2007-8 financial year grew to 2.75 mln eur
versus 0.85 mln, while EBITDA increased to 6.34 mln eur from the 2.07 mln
reported for the same quarter last year.
